Our Mission

The primary purpose of the Ebadullah Islamic Organization is to assist Muslims in Sierra Leone who are preparing for the Hajj pilgrimage. The organization provides comprehensive guidance, helping pilgrims navigate the complex process and ensuring they are adequately prepared for this significant spiritual journey.

Our Vision

Our vision is to empower Sierra Leoneans going for Hajj by providing them the most important necessities and tools for them to have a wonderful Hajj experiences without much constraints. Also prioritizing Islamic movements and proving basic need (food, good water supply, clothing and shelter) for people who are less privileged and in need within the republic of Sierra Leone.

BRIEF HISTORY/CONCEPT

Our organization will be primarily focused on assisting and helping our Muslim brothers and sisters going to perform hajj in Saudi Arabia. Over the years, people have been struggling and suffering when it comes to hajj programs. Field research shows that many Sierra Leoneans go through lots of constraints and difficulties in the hajj programs. It has been a long dream of ours to establish an organization that will render help and assistance to our brothers and sisters going for hajj.

Due to the lateness in both national and international plans and preparation, there has been a serious concern over the activities and well-being related to the would be pilgrims and their hajj preparations within the borders of Sierra Leone. The idea to render physical and logistical assistance and guidance to the would-be pilgrims within Sierra Leone was a result of our individual experiences in preparation for the recent past of Hajj 2022. As Muslims, fairly young in age, we realized that there is a need for some of us to come together to render the necessary assistance and guidance needed by our pilgrims in Sierra Leone.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To promote unity, friendship and mutual understanding among members in any developmental programs.
  • To help and assist each other in both happiness and sadness in accordance to what the organization is assigned upon.
  • To raise funds from time to time in order to finance the organization through developmental programs, membership registration, monthly dues and pledges.
  • To help drop outs and vulnerable children and also provide help to the needy.
  • To undertake Islamic projects with the view of improving the living standards of Ebadullah members.
  • To assist and encourage Ebadullah members to engage in gainful ventures.
  • To see each other as a family and be polite to one another in the bid of fostering reunion, friendship and unity amongst members and in the bid of seeking, developing and support for members and their families.
  • To provide sense of belongingness to one another.
  • To facilitate the construction of a Hajj Village in Sierra Leone in collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership shall be opened and limited to people who have performed the pilgrimage to mecca, Saudi Arabia from 2022 onwards.  Membership shall be opened to the following categories: Full membership • Chief patrons • Patrons • Honorary • Affiliates 
FULL MEMBERSHIP: is referred to as active member who have registered with the organization and are paying their monthly dues. Members with full membership are obliged to be up to date with their monthly contribution and should be attending meetings and participate in every Ebadullah activities. CHIEF PATRONS: are referred to as senior citizens with higher occupations and or businesses who are willing to sponsor the organization’s activities and are always ready to pave the way for the organization to succeed in all its ventures. PATRONS: are referred to as upright citizens who can manage meaningful contributions to the organization. HONORARY MEMBERS: are people who can contribute to the organization by donations once in a while.
